Since masks have become a necessity in our daily life and will probably remain so for a while, I figured I’d share my favourite Canadian (mostly Québécois) brands with you.
Been obsessed with this perfume ever since it was offered to me as a gift many years ago. I rarely purchase the same perfume twice, but I love this one so much I’ve purchased it a couple of times now. The scent is floral (lily more specifically), light and slightly powdery (not sure if that’s the right word but it’s what comes to mind). And it’s the only perfume that ever got me a compliment from a perfect stranger ;-)
As a freelancer, I’ve been working from home for the last 5 years, and other than a bookshelf I purchased in the last year or so, my home office has looked the same way it did the first day I put together a little workspace in my bedroom. Due to space limitations, I can’t exactly revamp the whole thing, so I only update a few items here and there every now and then.
Anyone who knows me and knows my true style will tell you I love anything leather. When you think leather, you usually think handbags, shoes or belts, but there are so many gorgeous clothing items that aren’t featured as often, so I figured I’d check out my favourite stores to find the trendiest (and most wearable) leather pieces (including vegan and faux). I didn’t include biker jackets since they are SO many of them… they’d require a post of their own.
For my last Fashion Week post of the year, I’ll feature a brand I never thought I’d mention. See… I’d be lying if I said I was a lover of all things Chanel. I do love a lot of the accessories (mostly jewelry and bags), but when it comes to the clothing, I can’t say I’m a huge fan (and by that, I mean I wouldn’t see myself wearing any of it as it doesn’t exactly fit my personal style).
OB.SESSED. with Paco Rabanne’s sexy silky form-fitting dresses… I want them all! See my favourite looks below, or if you prefer to drool over the entire collection, click here. Wanna see more #fashionweekfaves? Over here.
I wasn’t familiar with Parisian brand Ami, but I have to admit I was pleasantly surprised when I checked out their Spring collection. I mean… those different suit versions with the cropped top underneath?! Loved them! And the long knit dresses? Perfect mix of sexy and chill.
Loved Altuzarra’s collection and all its elegant yet comfortable pieces that included stunning flowy, breezy skirts paired with what looked liked the softest knit wrap tops…
