DO YOU WANNA GET FUNKY?

Lately all I’ve been wanting to do is dress up and go out dancing with my girls. I love having them over for drinks, getting ready while listening to the “Girls Night Out” playlist on my iPod and go and dance the night away. And for some reason I started thinking of C & C Music Factory’s Do You Wanna Get Funky music video.

The first time I watched this video, I was around 17 and not really into girlie things (turning 33 very soon, so, yeah… that was a loooong time ago…). And I remember this video with sexy boys and girls dancing, all the glitter, and I remember thinking that I, too, wanted to wear trendy clothes, high heels, put makeup on, look pretty and go out and dance all night with my friends.

That video was my first introduction to “sexyness”. It’s one of my all-time favourite music videos, and that song still is, and always will be, one of my absolute favourite songs to dance and sing to…

    Oh my God! I love this music! I used to dance this music with my friend Jamie and try to make the same moves that this guys and girls do…:))))
    That was a long time ago! I miss those days!
