I always associate anything Valentino-related to more classic and demure pieces, so when I saw boxy fits and sportswear in Red Valentino’s collection, I have to admit I was pleasantly surprised. I thought some of the pieces to be more audacious (the boldness even came through in the images and the model’s attitudes) without necessarily steering away from its identity (you could still see some of its very feminine details).
