CURRENT MORNING SKINCARE ROUTINE

When it comes to beauty, I’ve never really been consistent with routines in the past. But in October of 2019, I stopped taking the pill (I was on it for over 20 years) and it wreaked havoc on my skin. I was SO embarrassed by my breakouts I eventually went to an acupuncturist who was able to help me get rid of about 90% of them. I’m still stuck with some “leftovers” and still get new ones occasionally (often enough to really bother me) and I’m sure it is due to various reasons like the occasional change in diet, not drinking enough water, etc. I did a little digging online and decided to purchase two products by The Ordinary that many women were raving about when it comes to clearing skin. Those, along with a consistent routine has helped a lot! My skin is far from being perfect, but has a nicer glow, looks less tired and at least now it looks like it’s actually getting some TLC. I will tell you about my nighttime routine in another post, but for now, here are the products I use almost every morning! I start with washing my face with water, then I pat it dry gently and apply the Zorah mist as a toner using a cotton pad. I let that dry and apply two drops of The Ordinary’s Niacinamide/Zinc followed by a little lymphatic massage with a jade roller. I then apply both Lancôme products and while that sets in, I go make my coffee and once I’m done I come back and apply two drops of the Biothem Liquid Glow (love it!) all over my face and neck… and voilà!
