FASHION WEEK FAVES – #THROWBACKTHURSDAY – YVES SAINT LAURENT SPRING 2001

If you read my blog on a regular basis, you know by now that I love anything Tom Ford designed in the 90s/early 2000s, whether it was for Gucci, his namesake brand or in this case, Yves Saint Laurent. Sometimes when new designers take over brands, I completely lose interest in them as they can have a completely different aesthetic (for example: Tom Ford’s Gucci vs. Alessandro Michele’s), but I have to admit that in Yves Saint Laurent’s case, I’ve been loving the brand’s latest designs, whether from Hedi Slimane or Anthony Vaccarello.

But I digress… this post is dedicated to my love for Tom Ford, so here it goes… my favourite looks from his Spring 2001 collection for Yves Saint Laurent. If you wanna see the entire collection click here, to see more #ThrowbackThursdayRunway click here, and for more recent #FashionWeekFaves… over here!
