There’s something about Saint-Laurent’s fall 2022 collection that felt a little bit 80s. Maybe it was the long (faux) fur coats over evening gowns or the oversized bangles, but either way, it was a little reminiscent of that era’s sultry glam. I also found the collection to be relatively simple compared to past shows, but if you’re like me and love an all-black sexy minimalist look, then you probably loved this collection.
Among personal favourites were the grey coat with strong shoulders and multiple gold bangles, the black satin trench paired with my new favourite shades (so mysterious!), the white/cream satin skirt (or dress) paired with a black peacoat, and pretty much every black evening dress that made it onto the runway, because well, it’s Saint Laurent after all…
