20 WAYS TO WEAR THE FOLDOVER WAISTBAND

Something that’s been on my radar lately is the foldover waistband, usually seen on loose-fitting pants. Eden Kannourakis styled hers perfectly with a worn-in leather jacket, Louis Vuitton tote and pillow boots, as seen below. But to be honest, since a white band adds a little something extra, it can easily upgrade a simple outfit of black pants and a white tank top if you pair them with padded sandals and a designer bag for example, as seen on Ardiana Nicki.

The trend is so popular that while some women do the “foldover” to show the white lining, other brands have sewn it directly onto the waistband.

Also, I know they’re not exactly the same thing, but they kinda remind me of Katayone Adeli’s popular pants that celebrities were obsessed with in the late 90s/early aughts. Adeli’s pants didn’t have that white waistband, but the height of the waistband was often larger than the standard ones, and just like the foldover waistband pants, it added a little something to a simple outfit.

Anyhoo, I did a round-up of my top 20 favourite looks. Check them out below and let me know which one is your favourite!
