#THROWBACKTHURSDAYRUNWAY – HAIDER ACKERMANN SPRING 2010

If you know my love for the late 90s and early 00s fashion era, you have a good idea of who my favourite designers are. But there’s one I haven’t featured in my #ThrowbackThursdayRunway series yet, and that’s Haider Ackermann. I loved too many of his collections from that era to be able to put them all in one post. So for now we’ll focus on his Spring 2010 collection.

You know I’m not exactly a fan of colour, so I preferred the neutral palette of black and dusty grey, pink and lilac. But what I mostly loved about his pieces is the fluidity, the draping, as well as the use of oversized pockets on his belted jackets and vests. Also, I’m obsessed with those tapered cargo pants…
