ADIDAS ADRIA

I have seen so many street style photos of women wearing the Adidas Superstar, it’s crazy! Obviously, I became totally obsessed with the shoes so naturally I went out shopping for them but was REALLY disappointed when I saw them in the store… and here’s why: adidas-originals-superstarDo you see it? That ugly plastic cap toe? No way I was going to wear that… But I really liked the overall look of the shoes, so I did a little digging online and finally found another pair called the Adria, which in my opinion is more delicate and feminine.

Overall, the Adria is very similar to the Superstar but has 3 different features. First of all, it doesn’t have that stiff piece of plastic stuck in the front. Also, the sole on the Superstar is a little thicker, which along with the plastic cap toe makes it look more masculine. And finally, I noticed the Adria doesn’t have the Adidas logo in the back. As for the price, mine were originally $70 but I got them on special online at The Bay for $44.80 a few weeks ago. And if I’m not mistaking, the Superstar sells for less than $100 but I’m not sure how much… I didn’t bother asking (or trying them on) when I was at the store.

Below is a photo of my new Adria kicks, followed by some inspirational photos found on Pinterest…
